Perfect All Around!
Everything about the house was perfect. Extremely clean and well maintained, comfortable, beautiful (inside and out), well stocked kitchen, and a wonderful setting. It was a great base for our day trips, but would have been perfect for staying on property and enjoying what the immediate area offers. We are already talking about a winter trip as well.

Sisters Getaway
My younger sister and I try to plan a vacation away just the two of us each year. This was the perfect spot for us to relax, do our own cooking and grilling while enjoying the scenery. It was also a great jumping point to explore the area. We spent most of our time in Glacier Park, including the east side of the park and places like Polebridge. The park is massive and it took some time driving, but was amazing. We were also able to enjoy the area around Kalispell, Flathead Lake and downtown Big Fork. Very quaint with decent restaurant options. Lisa and Monica are great hosts - we enjoyed the fresh eggs and hearing/seeing their small farm animals in the distance. Lisa was also very available with the couple of questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend - just be prepared for the ultimate privacy and relaxation in a tucked away location.

IT'S MARVELOUS!
The property sits near the foot of the western side of the Continental Divide, in the middle of a forest. It's breathtaking! And the little home in which I stayed was beautifully done. I recommend it highly.

Wonderful Stay
We ended a long 10 days of adventure with 2 relaxing nights at the Tree House and were not disappointed. The place was even more charming than the pictures and made for a great spot to recuperate. Lisa was very detailed in her correspondence and gave us some great suggestions on near-by hikes. I would highly recommend this stay to couples or small groups that are looking to unwind in the woods.

A Slice of Heaven
Over the top impressed! The accommodations were clean, cozy, romantic and just what we needed. I can't imagine why anyone would not want to stay here. Nestled in the woods at the base of the Swans the Treehouse surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. The location was perfect; a nice launching spot for all of the hiking and playtime we were after. The deck made for a restful dinner spot after a long day of adventures and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy a few dinners with our guests. The owner's really know how to lay the foundation for a great experience and we will definitely stay here again. What are you waiting for?

Surrounded By Beauty!
What a wonderful place. Stunning natural surroundings, and friendly and helpful hosts. Our family of three spent 5 nights at the Treehouse recently - and never wanted to leave! During the days, we explored Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake (and even went to the rodeo in Kalispell), and in the evenings we relaxed on the deck or watched a movie in the Treehouse. One night we walked out on the fire road behind the house to watch the sunset turn the sky pink and orange; then watched bats swooping over the pond in the twilight while our daughter swung on the huge swing. And every morning, we ate delicious eggs from Lisa's own hens! The area is full of fun and interesting things to do - we hiked, kayaked, picnicked, swam, and paddleboarded; saw elk, deer, bison, and antelope at the Bison Range; took a boat tour, and even stepped over into Canada. We had delicious meals in Big Fork and sampled buffalo jerky, local beers, Flathead cherries, and huckleberry taffy. A couple of practical things to bring: * shoes such as tevas, keens, or watershoes that you can wear in the many streams and lakes * earplugs, if the crowing of the rooster might keep you awake (we slept great) No need to bring: * bear spray (there's one at the Treehouse to borrow) * linens, including swim towels The house is comfortable, clean, and private, with a beautiful view of the Swan Range mountains. And best of all, Lisa's family is warm and friendly, ready with local tips and wisdom.

Breathtaking Mountain Retreat
We were 4 adults and 1 child staying at this property. It was perfect. It was secluded, but not far from shopping in Bigfork. The way the tree house was built and decorated was absolutely breathtaking, capturing all the amazing views. We especially enjoyed the open living, fabulous composite deck for evening meals and morning coffee, and the incredible rainwater/steam shower. Everything was a delight! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Oh, and the fresh dozen eggs upon arrival were scrumptious! What an incredible bonus that was for morning breakfasts.

Exceptional Montana Home!
Our stay at the tree house was exceptional! The kindness and hospitality displayed by the owners was very appreciated. We notified Lisa that we were going to be arriving much later than anticipated and she went out of her way to make up the futon and turn on outside lights to assist us. We arrived in the middle of the night and had the treat of waking up and seeing the gorgeous Montana view the next morning, and we enjoyed their complimentary fresh eggs for breakfast. The tree house was a very comfortable home away from home after busy days of kayaking on Swan River and hiking and sightseeing at Glacier National Park. Thank you for sharing your lovely home; we look forward to returning one day!

Little Piece of Paradise
We stayed at the treehouse with our two young children. We were pleasantly surprised to find toys supplied for both of our children, and accessories for our baby such as a changing pad. It was in a perfect location to escape the town and enjoy the scenery, yet close to a variety of activities. We explored Big Mountain in Whitefish and spent a day in Glacier. The treehouse is absolutely beautiful inside, very clean and the owners think of everything you may need. We had a very enjoyable trip. We highly recommend this place for any family vacations, and even romantic getaways. The "O" family from Idaho

Wonderful!
My family loved staying at the treehouse. Lisa and her family were extremely friendly, generous, and welcoming hosts. Lisa was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had and we enjoyed getting to know her. The furnishings and amenities are very nice, comfortable, and functional--we especially loved the lovely steam shower and comfy bed. The treehouse is surrounded by an idyllic setting with views of the Swan mountains and wilderness. My two year old son loved all the animals, feeding the fish in the pond, and exploring the property. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it!

The Treehouse Is A Gem
The treehouse is truly a gem. We stayed there from July 5 to July 12, and used it as a hub for our adrenaline junkie activities. We kayaked on Flathead Lake and Swan River, mountain biked in Whitefish,, and spent three full days hiking in Glacier National Park. It was wonderful to come home after a busy day and relax in the evening on the deck or in the living room with the fabulous views. The complimentary farm fresh eggs were awesome. We would hard boil them and take them on our hikes for lunch . Monica was sweet enough to give us an extra dozen, because we were there for a week and loved eating them on our adventures. Lisa and Monica were aweseome hosts. I would definitely stay at the treehouse again!! Note: The weather can change drastically within an hour. If you are out in the elements be prepared. Bear spray and bells are essential in Glacier.

We Will Definitely Be Back!!
What an amazing stay we had! Not only was the "Tree House" incredibly beautiful, well-stocked, and comfortable, but our host was awesome! We had a dozen fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge, and she also brought over a bag full of freshly picked arugula and spring greens from her greenhouse. She let my teenaged daughter and niece borrow her dog, Marco, to go hiking in the woods, and armed them with bear spray. We got to help feed the animals, and meet the 3 big beautiful Turkish Mountain dogs that protect the property, along w the goats and chickens. She also gave us food to feed the fish in the pond before finishing out the day taking turns on the awesome tree swing. Inside the cabin, it is just so beautiful! So much care has been put into the construction and upkeep of this gorgeous hideaway. The kitchen is stocked better than any rental I have ever seen. Choose your kind of coffee maker, there are even boxes of pods, etc. in the cabinet. Whatever utensil you think you could possibly need, they have it, including a ton of spices, cooking oils, and condiments in the fridge you would not expect. I love to cook, and don't like to be without my "tools", so I packed way more into my suitcase than I should have, and ended up not needing most of it. We loved all the large windows, and every view was just gorgeous. Loved waking up in the morning and brushing my teeth looking out the large bathroom window into the forest and feeling the nice cool breeze. You really feel like you are up in the trees. All of our meals were thoroughly enjoyed out on the beautiful upper deck. The awesome views just made every meal taste that much better. We are from FL and had never been to that part of the country before, and had no idea where to go besides Glacier National Park. Monica was awesome in pointing us in the right direction for what we were looking for...non-touristy areas to enjoy mother nature. She brought us 3 inner tubes to use for floating down the river, and took us on a drive down the street to show us where we could get in the river, and where the takeout point would be down river. She even offered to let us use her truck to park at the take out location to get us back to our car at the starting point. We ended up going to a new lake each day instead, as my littlest one didn't want to be in moving water, but the offer was extremely generous. We are so very grateful! Everything about our stay was amazing, and we sure do hope to return!

Beautiful And Peaceful Stay In Montana
My wife and our 3 kids (13, 13 and 10) had a great time staying at this house. Three bedrooms were perfect for us with my wife and I in the master (what an incredible view of the mountains out the master window), the girls in one bedroom and son in the other. With the futton in the front room we could have easily had two more. We were a bit nervous driving down the gravel road to the house but all nervousness washed away when we pulled up to the house and went inside. The materials and quality of construction are very high level. The kitchen isn't large but the subzero, Viking range, coffee pot, microwave, etc. made everything very nice. The store in Bigfork is about 10 minutes away and we made breakfast and dinner at the house each night. The kids loved the tree swing and playing around the pond/water. I loved sitting on the back porch in the reclining chair, reading and looking at the mountains with a cold drink in hand. During the stay we had deer (bucks, does and fawns) walk through the yard every day, as well as turkeys followed by babies. We spent two days at Glacier National Park and one rainy day shopping and eating in Kalispell and Whitefish. The location is secluded but also relatively close to everything. We had a great time and would recommend it without reservation.

Amazing!
We came down to Montana to run a Spartan Beast race at Bigfork. This was the perfect oasis to stay at. It was cozy, comfortable and with all the amenities of home. We loved eating out on the deck in the middle of the forest with mountain views. We couldn't have asked for a better escape and a place to recover post-races. We left restored, relaxed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend the Treehouse to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home. :)

Bigfork Get Away
A group of us spent a couple of nights at the Wild Swan Retreat in September. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It's a great house located in a beautiful, quiet setting with everything you need for short or long term stays. It's a short drive to Big Fork where you can check out one of many restaurants or just pick up supplies and head back to the retreat. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. You won't be disappointed with the Wild Swan. We will go back when we get a chance.

Home Away From Home
What a wonderful, relaxing Montana retreat! We spent the last three nights of our Montana vacation in the treehouse and loved every minute! Cozy Mountain Retreat
We stayed here for five nights with our three sons, and I don't think we could have found a better place for our vacation! Our hosts were kind and welcoming and the house was lovely. All three of our boys slept up in the loft and had a blast. We came to hike, but our kids had so much fun playing outside on the grounds that they didn't want to leave each day! We spent every morning enjoying our coffee on the deck while the kids played outside. If you are parents looking for a beautiful place to relax while your children run and play, this is it!

Nice Getaway Location
Let me start with the positives...beautiful treehouse. Everything is top of the line, nice furnishings, comfortable bed, washer and dryer, great shower, my 2 boys loved the loft , the view is amazing and the kids loved all the goats and dogs. You also get fresh eggs upon your arrival. The ladies that live here are very nice. They gave plenty of helpful advice on the surrounding area and any questions you may have about groceries and things to do There is a pond that looks great in the pictures but it's not really fishing worthy. On a high note, there are plenty of locations close by to fish in. You have to travel down a good bit of dirt road to get to the treehouse and back out - there's not a lot close by. There are NO blinds on the treehouse and the owners house is right next to it. You are up with the sun....which is beautiful and not a problem with young kids. We left pretty early every morning to go do stuff and got home pretty late. Montana is beautiful and not meant to be viewed from inside! There is a large TV that we attempted to turn on 1 time but the power wouldn't come on and we never asked about it because it wasn't a big deal. We weren't there to watch tv. There is a smaller tv with plenty of Disney movies by the bed - all 4 nights before we went to bed, we watched a movie and that was great for us! All in all, we had a great stay in Montana. Can't wait to come back!! (NOTE – There have been blinds installed since this post)

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
My family of four traveled to this tranquil treehouse for a wedding. We were welcomed by Lisa who went out of her way to have it ready early for us. The Treehouse has a beautiful modern kitchen with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal. The steam shower was very relaxing. We received fresh eggs for the morning. The dogs were so cute and my girls just loved them. If it had not poured rain the whole time we were there I would have loved to lay in the hammock outside and relax. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet retreat.

Wouldn't Stay Anywhere Else In Bigfork, Honestly!
My husband and I wanted to visit Glacier National Park for our 1 year wedding Anniversary. After doing some research and figuring out what town we wanted to stay in we were so excited to find "The Treehouse". Upon arrival we were so surprised on the quality and upgrades to the inside of the tree house. The shower is a steam shower with two shower heads, it was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The views were AMAZING! Even the futon was comfortable. If we were headed back to Bigfork, or even a surrounding area, we would plan our trip around the availability of "The Treehouse". I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! :)

A Real Gem!
My wife and I spent the first few nights of our honeymoon at this beautiful property. We loved the views and the secluded feel of the property despite being only minutes from Bigfork. The owners were extremely accommodating and provided us with delicious farm-fresh eggs and even a giant home baked cinnamon roll one morning. The "tree house" was very clean and the accommodations were very nice. We both thought that the steam shower was incredibly relaxing. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway but would be great for kids as well. Thanks!

Highlight of our Trip
This gem was one of the highlights of our trip to Montana. The guest house is nestled in the forest but still close enough to Bigfork if you want to go shopping or eating out. The beds were comfy, the decor was warm, and the place was stocked with everything we needed and more. We used the guest house as our home base going out to Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell during day. However, we found that our kids sometimes preferred to hang out at the Treehous - in the loft, play on the swings and hammocks, and near the animals rather than venturing out. The owners/hosts were amazingly inviting, hospitable, and accommodating. We would definitely return in the future or recommend it to others.

The Tree House is Wonderful
What a wonderful experience we had at this property! The view of the mountains were breath taking. The property was rural which we loved. My family loved staying at the Wild Swan Retreat. The home is gorgeous, and very secluded. This was an amazing house to stay in. The house is beautiful, with very nice appliances and washer and dryer. The house is on a large area of land and has it's own hiking trails. We Had A Wonderful Trip ...
I visited Lisa's beautiful little studio space with my daughter Fana in late summer 2012. From the moment we drove onto the property, I knew we would have an amazing time. There is a magical view of the Swan Mountains through the huge windows in the space, which is nestled in a pine forest. The place borders on forest service land, with trails up into the mountains. There is a beautiful pond and waterfall. The studio is spacious and cozy at the same time, with a rustic feel and high ceilings. It has every convenience -- full kitchen, full bathroom with steam shower, washer / dryer, etc. Many amazing activities are within a 20-30 minute drive: beaches at Flathead Lake; the quaint town of Bigfork; the Swan River; and more. I can't wait to go back, it was a magical experience!

We Loved This Place!
Our stay here in Bigfork was the most memorable of our annual summer vacation! My sister and I, and our 3 children stayed in this wonderful chateau, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings for an entire week. The young ones (2) slept in the spacious loft, while my sister and I shared the ample queen bed below. My teenager bunked on a comfortable futon. Our days were spent hiking the beautiful trails behind the property, rafting/tubing a lazy river (perfect for young ones!), and relaxing on the property. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the deck is a wonderful place to hang out, bbq, and just enjoy the magnificent setting. We will definitely be coming back!

Very nice cabin in the woods. Private, quiet and clean. Enjoyed the steam shower immensely. Well appointed kitchen as well. Good location to get around to Big Fork, Glacier, Swan River, Flathead Lake.

IT'S MARVELOUS!
The property sits near the foot of the western side of the Continental Divide, in the middle of a forest. It's breathtaking! And the little home in which I stayed was beautifully done. I recommend it highly.

Incredible Escape!
We love the treehouse and come back to stay every May when we are in Big Fork to run the Spartan Beast. We can’t say enough about what a beautiful place this is. Gorgeously appointed, friendly owners and breathtaking scenery. We think of it as our perfect home away from home!

What a wonderful experience we had at this property! The view of the mountains were breath taking. The property was rural which we loved.
