Private Retreats andWorkshops
The Venue at Wild Swan Retreat
This amazing venue is ideal for private retreats, special workshops and day camps. We are looking for private consultants or businesses that focus on writing, storytelling, personal or spiritual development, life coaching, meditation, family connection, organic vegetarian cooking, or wildlife viewing and photography, who would like to offer a retreat or workshop at our location. With stunning views of the Swan Mountain Range as your backdrop you are sure to create a unique experience and special lasting memories for all in attendance. Please contact us directly with your interest and any questions.
The gorgeous backdrop of the Swan mountain range, surrounding forest, cascading waterfall studded reflective pond, lawns and gardens offer a sacred space and a perfect setting to reflect, journal, meditate and/or engage in personal development or creative activities. Adjacent to the pond and gardens, a fence encircles our livestock area and barn where we keep goats, chickens, livestock guardian dogs and possibly in the future, other livestock animals. We also have a four-season greenhouse. Farmstay guests may enjoy learning about or participating in our small-scale farmstead and agricultural activities, or simply enjoy visiting with our animals and sampling the fruits of our labor. The grounds also lend themselves well to magical photographic and painting opportunities, especially during sunsets when the sun casts an amazing panoramic alpine glow.
Our Retreat Center was originally built as a yoga pavilion. The large great room can still function as a space for yoga and meditation but also functions nicely as an open space for creative processes, sacred circles for storytelling and personal or organizational development activities. A large wooden table and benches provide ample space for up to 10 people to meet, work, and dine at, and there are also several comfy sitting areas for break out writing, reading, or one on one discussions. Audio visual equipment and materials are also available on site as needed.
The large great room boasts wood flooring, a stone fireplace, and huge views of alpine glowing mountains through craftsman style picture windows.. Also, in the retreat center is a lovely foyer for receiving guests, a full gourmet kitchen, an office, three guest bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a lovely covered porch. The kitchen is ideal for caterers, with it's own separate entrance and space to prep and serve. Additional dining or workshop tables can be set up in the large great room, on the covered porch, and/or on the lawn outside the great room.
Rising amongst tall evergreens is our guesthouse, or what we call the "Treehouse." As an ancillary space for an outdoor event, the Treehouse is perfect for workshop facilitators or guests to stay in before, during, or after their event on the property, or simply where catering or other preparations can occur.
