Monica, Lisa and Morgan moved to Montana seven years ago to create a more sustainable and healthy life for their family. Though they are new to farming and gardening and learning as they go, they have built a four season green house, two coops and a barn. In the green house they have been organically growing heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs. In the coops they are raising an assortment of free ranging chickens who eat all organic feed and browse, and produce delicious eggs. In the barn they are raising Mini-Nubian goats and hope to produce goat milk products one day. Finally, to protect their livestock from large predators of Swan Mountain Range, they have Turkish Akbash guardian dogs .
